Welcome to Rufus Fairbanks Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution

We are the Rufus Fairbanks Chapter NSDAR of Satellite Beach, Florida. Our members include those who live in all areas of Brevard County, as well as many ”snowbirds” visiting Florida for the winter months. Our meetings are held in Satellite Beach on the first Saturday of each month at 10:00 a.m., except September and January being the second Saturday of the month.

The objectives of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution are historic preservation, promotion of education, and patriotic endeavor.

Our group of dedicated ladies welcome you! Membership in DAR is very rewarding. To become a member, a woman must be at least 18 years old and be able to prove blood descent from a person who rendered patriotic service during the American Revolution. If you think you are eligible, come to one of our meetings or send an e-mail to regent, Shirley Robbins Jaffe, or registrar, Lisa Crawford McRoberts. We will be pleased to assist in the membership process and help you find ways to document your lineage. If you are interested in having a great time, contributing to the community and learning, this is the right place for you!
