“In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”
Historic Preservation, Education, and Patriotism
Welcome to Clearwater, Florida, home of the Clearwater Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Clearwater Beach, just a few miles North, has been voted the #1 Best Beach Town in Florida.
What does the Clearwater Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution have in common with Winter the Dolphin, students, and Veterans? Winter, star of the movie, Dolphin Tale, lives at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium. Winter lost her tail and was given a prosthetic device. She has become “an inspiration for hope, changing the lives of people with challenges.” Veterans, students, and others who have lost limbs love Winter and are inspired by her story.
The Clearwater Chapter holds fundraisers to help change the lives of Veterans and students. We also award scholarships to high school students and monetary awards and medals to ROTC students and DAR Good Citizens of local high schools.
The Clearwater chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR) prides itself in preserving history, supporting education, and saluting patriotism. These are the goals of our national organization, and we are steadfast in upholding these high standards.
