We are located in Tampa, Florida, and named the DeSoto Chapter for an early Spanish explorer of Florida’s west coast, Hernando DeSoto. DeSoto Chapter was organized in 1903 and was honored to have a Real Daughter of the American Revolution, Mrs. Eunice Lackey, as a charter member. In the spirit of the Daughters of the American Revolution, through our volunteer service we honor God, Home, and Country. Our service projects focus on historic preservation, education, and patriotism.
